About Us
Automated Merchant Services, Inc. (AMS) is a family owned and
operated credit card processing company that has been working with
local merchants for over 20 years. AMS excels at hands on customer
support for all our clients big or small. We are a “soup to nuts”
company that does everything from sales to service when we are
working with a customer. We also specialize in working with
non-profit organizations and have developed a program to help meet
their needs.
AMS was founded in April, 1987 by Stephen Appel and a few short
years later his son Rob joined the fold. Then in 2006, Rob’s
brother-in-law Craig came on board to round out the team.
Everyone in the office is very
friendly and knowledgeable. There is no question too big
or small that they won’t answer and they take the time to
actually explain their statements to you so that you
understand your costs.
